The World Doctorates Day is observed on August 25th every year since 2012. This day was chosen in an eventful way. The day and time in 2012 the idea of choosing a day to be the World Doctorates Day came in my mind 237th member joined the Global Network of Doctorates on the LinkedIn. It was a leap year and 237th day in 2012 was August 25th.

GAD provides a unique platform “Innosolver” for corporate members to get their R&D problem solved by the expert members of GAD for an offered award. Innosolvers will solve the problem in innovative way for an incentive offered by the company.

GAD offers following types of membership for Indian and International doctorates: Life Membership, Life Membership (International), Annual Membership, Annual Membership (International), Associate Membership, Associate Membership (International), Institutional Membership, Institutional Membership (International), Corporate Membership, Corporate Membership (International), Honorary Membership

1. Life Membership (Fee INR 10000 + INR 500 admission)

Only doctorates are eligible to become full life members. Life members of GAD will have full rights to vote and assume key positions of responsibilities of the academy. They will have access to database, publications, participation in all academy’s events at discounted price (10%) in registration fees. Members may have industry connect for consultancy and solve the R&D problems for a given award. Members may use GAD platform to upload posts, polls, notifications, events, announcements etc. As an expert amongst the life members, they may also be nominated as jury member, resource person for FDP, editorial board member, city and country coordinators.

2. Life Membership International (Fee USD 500 + USD 25 admission)

Only doctorates living outside India are eligible to become full international life members. Life members (International) of GAD will have full rights to vote and assume key positions of responsibilities of the academy including office bearers of the Chapters. They will have access to database, publications, participation in all academy’s events at discounted price (10%) in registration fees. Members may have industry connect for consultancy and solve the R&D problems for a given award. Members may use GAD platform to upload posts, polls, notifications, events, announcements etc. As an expert amongst the life members, they may also be nominated as jury member, resource person for FDP, editorial board member, city and country coordinators.

3. Annual Membership (Fee INR 2000 + INR 500 admission)

Only doctorates are eligible to become annual members. Annual members of GAD will have rights to vote but cannot assume key positions of responsibilities (office bearer) of the academy. They will have access to database, publications, participation in all academy’s events at discounted price (10%) in registration fees. Members may have industry connect for consultancy and solve the R&D problems for a given award. Members may use GAD platform to upload posts, polls, notifications, events, announcements etc.

4. Annual Membership International (Fee USD 100 + USD 25 admission)

Only doctorates are eligible to become annual members. Annual members (International) of GAD will have rights to vote but cannot assume key positions of responsibilities (office bearer) of the academy. They will have access to database, publications, participation in all academy’s events at discounted price (10%) in registration fees. Members may have industry connect for consultancy and solve the R&D problems for a given award. Members may use GAD platform to upload posts, polls, notifications, events, announcements etc.

5. Associate Membership (Fee INR 5000 + INR 500 admission)

Research scholars who are registered in a University and pursuing doctoral program may join as an Associate Member by paying only 50% fee of life membership. On completion of Ph.D. they can become full Life Member by paying the remaining 50% fee of 5000 INR. Associate members of GAD will have full rights to vote but cannot assume key positions of responsibilities (office bearer) of the academy. They will have access to database, publications, participation in all academy’s events at discounted price (10%) in registration fees. Members may have industry connect for consultancy and solve the R&D problems for a given award. Members may use GAD platform to upload posts, polls, notifications, events, announcements etc. Members are also entitled to merit-based scholarship. On becoming full life members they will have all the privileges as available to life members above at sl. no. 1 above.

6. Associate Membership (Fee USD 250 + USD 25 admission)

Research scholars who are registered in a University and pursuing doctoral program may join as an Associate Member by paying only 50% fee of life membership. On completion of Ph.D. they can become full Life Member by paying the remaining 50% fee of 250 USD. Associate members of GAD will have full rights to vote but cannot assume key positions of responsibilities (office bearer) of the academy. They will have access to database, publications, participation in all academy’s events at discounted price (10%) in registration fees. Members may have industry connect for consultancy and solve the R&D problems for a given award. Members may use GAD platform to upload posts, polls, notifications, events, announcements etc. On becoming full life members, they will have all the privileges as available to international life members.

7. Institutional Membership (Fee INR 50000 + INR 1000 admission)

All universities, Institutions of Higher Education, colleges, autonomous institutions, NGOs, academies etc are welcome to join the academy as Institutional members. These will have access to full database, search area wise experts, can post notifications, events, vacancies, The GAD will provide opportunity to partner with other institutions and industries. Institutional members will get opportunity to utilize GAD data base to connect with industry experts for inviting as Professor of Practice, adjunct professor, and industry connect for placement etc. Institutions may also get chance to establish 2x2 program (partnership) involving an institution and industry from their country with an Institution and Industry from other country.

Corporate members may also get chance to establish 2x2 program (partnership) involving an institution and industry from their country with an Institution and Industry from other country.

10. Corporate Membership (International) (Fee USD 2000 + USD 100 admission)

11. Honorary Membership (No fee, only by invitations)

A person of eminence in his/her field may be invited by the Governing Body of the GAD as Honorary member. Such members along with Fellow of the Academy will turn out to be our prestigious asset and guiding mentors for achieving our vision and mission. Honorary members will get rights to participate in all the events of GAD without any registration fee.

12. Founding Membership (Already designated)

Founding Membership is same as the life membership. These are already designated at the time of formation of the Academy. They will have full rights to vote and assume key positions of responsibilities of the academy. They will have access to database, publications, participation in all academy’s events at discounted price (10%) in registration fees. Members may have industry connect for consultancy and solve the R&D problems for a given award. Members may use GAD platform to upload posts, polls, notifications, events, announcements etc. As an expert amongst the life members, they may also be nominated as jury member, resource person for FDP, editorial board member, city and country coordinators, Founding members may be invited by President to participate on GB meetings as special invitees.
